The conference will take place on Newcastle Helix in the heart of the city centre at the Newcastle University Campus, in both the Frederick Douglass Centre and the Urban Sciences Building, which are adjacent buildings. The venue is within 10 minutes’ walk of a large variety of restaurants, accommodation and hotels. The city has excellent travel connections and Newcastle International Airport (NCL) is only 15 minutes from the city centre, connected directly to over 80 destinations.

By Car:
Newcastle Helix is easily accessible by road via the A1 from the north and south and the A69 from the west. There are several nearby public carparks.

By Train & Metro:
5 minute walk from Central Station with direct links to all major UK cities.

By Air:
7.7 miles or 30 minutes by Metro from Newcastle International Airport.
